The Trainers Methodology (TM) Level I qualification is a TESDA-promulgated competency-based training program designed to equip learners with the foundational knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values required to function effectively as a TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) trainer and assessor. It serves as the entry-level trainer qualification under the Philippine TVET system, enabling individuals to plan, deliver, and assess competency-based training in their respective technical or vocational fields.

This qualification focuses on developing competencies in instructional delivery/facilitation, training assessment, and training support functions. Learners will gain practical skills to plan training sessions, facilitate learning, supervise work-based activities, conduct competency assessments, and maintain training resources. It also builds essential workplace skills such as communication, use of IT applications, promoting a healthy learning environment, and work ethics—all aligned with TVET sector standards.
